Warbreaker graphic audio7/5/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() Happened with Elantris, Happened with Mistborn and then again with Warbreaker. It’s because when I open a Sanderson novel I expect to read a story that is neatly put together and has plot reveals that, unlike other books, make my jaw drop and bellow: “THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!” It isn’t because I praise him – heavens forbid I look back at Mistborn and see the flaws in it, I see myself not having gotten to Well of Ascension yet because I am not in the mood for it yet, I’m not saying it’s the author’s fault but it kind of gets to you, after a time. You know what drives me to read Sanderson books? I’ve been meaning to read this book for soooooo long you can’t even imagine, my graph line shows I started it in August last year and only now have I actually thought of starting and – preferably – finishing it. IT WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! Read at your own risk! Now Excuse me while I do my victory dance. ![]() Then again it really helped a lot that I listened to the Graphic Audio rendition of it. I seriously cannot believe I managed to read The Way of Kings! This was by far my most ambitious read of the year and I managed it in all but 2 weeks! Other times it would have taken me almost 2 months to complete a book this large – this is one of the biggest books I have on my shelves and certainly the biggest one I’ve read in my entire life. ![]()
